Walk-ins for public education #WalkinOct6

15 minutes before school starts at your local school
United States

OFT locals will host walk-ins for public education Oct. 6 joining a national day of action. Teachers, parents and community members will join outside their local school 15 minutes before classes begin to show support for public education. Events might feature remarks by the local president or a parent, signs and chants supporting schools, and perhaps coffee and doughnuts.

The events are intended to be fun rallies to start the day with a celebration of our schools while calling on folks to push for changes that will improve education through ESSA. Find out more about the opportunities to improve education through ESSA.
